About a week ago I was stung by a sting ray on the bottom of my foot. after a few days i was feeling better and began to walk on it like normal. It stayed a little bruised and still a little swollen. Now, the bruise is completely gone, but for the past day and a half it has become more swollen and it itches like crazy. I don't think there is a barb stuck in there, when it happened a doctor checked it out and said it was fine. Is it doing this because it is healing or is it infected? my foot feels like a baloon (it doesn't look that way though)

I'm going through the same thing. About a week ago I was stung by a stingray on the bottom of my foot. Now there is a purple area the size of a dime and it itches like crazy...

Ugh, I'm guessing I need to see a doctor? Is it infected? Antibiotics?

Oozing out green puss... peg legs... I have a parrot for sale. Free shipping.....itching, is often a feeling of healing. If you have ever had surgery, you would know the scar itches like mad! Maybe that is all it is. I'd go back in for a checkup.

First, see a doctor. Immediately. Second, you did not get a STING ray wound -or you would already be dead. You would do best to properly identify the kind of wound you did get, so you can be treated correctly. Good luck.

See a doctor, but the peg leg idea sounds much more interesting.
