What was your favorite sandwich as a kid?

I used to love Braunsweiger (liverwurst), but I also ate peanut butter and butter. Yeah, those make me want to hurl just thinking about them. My brother loved (and eats till this day at age 31) peanut butter, strawberry jam and pickles. Sick! What about you?

When I was a kid....... many MANY years ago, I went through different stages, eating the same lunch every day for months at a time. Ate tuna on white bread, PB&J on white, roast beef with mayo on roll, and my most favorite...liverwurst with butter (yuk) on a roll.

I used to fix grilled pimento cheese sandwiches for me and my best friend. My Mom and I fixed braunschweiger sandwiches on rye bread with thinly sliced red onions, capers and spicy mustard. As a kid I became allergic to peanuts so I use cashew butter or soy butter instead and my favorite orange marmalade.

I used to love braunschweiger too..but nowadays I can't get over the liver thing, weird I know. I ate a lot of peanut butter and jelly, bologna and cheese, and grilled cheese, as far as I remember.

I loved peanut butter and butter sandwiches, don't insult them!! Actually, my favorite snack was a baloney roll-up. You'd put peanut butter on baloney and roll it up. Yum!

I tried explaining my childhood snack to my boss, a caterer, and he acted as if I were insane, yet he says I haven't lived until I've had a fried baloney sandwich. Go figure.

I still love a good grilled cheese, and Monte Cristo's were pretty cool too.
I knew a kid who LOVED Peanut Butter and Mayo.

I loved tuna with lots of mayo. Still do. Always hated peanut butter.
