Yes, it's a very interesting question with a question mark instead of a point.
Here is my poem:
"Points"
Sometimes
there is no point discussing it
Tell me
what's the point of silence
She said
there is also the turning point
I can turn away from you
The points of their eyes flashed and met
Why don't you count
from infinity to one backwards
if there is no point
He began counting
hoping she would interrupt him
But she closed her eyes and smiled
The point is that he hurt her
and there could be
no end to that accounting
And there are the points in a line
And the line goes straight to hell
without stopping at the red light
And there are the points in a circle
And the circles keeps spinning
until you can't see the point
And there is the point of no return
Sometimes you can draw too fine a point
Oh yes, the pencil point
And if you press too hard
it will break he said
If you want
I can draw a picture
just for you
so you can see the point
she said
If you want
I can draw a picture of every point
you wanted me to see
And that's the moral of the story
or my viewpoint he said
She pointed her finger at him
You, darling, are shot point blank

This is the point and you can understand it.
A long time ago I thought that love was something that you reserved for some special set of people that you had judged worthy of it.
After a while I got to thinking about what Jesus had said about turning the other cheek and loving our neighbor I put the two together and realized that he had made no exceptions in these statements. It became obvious to me that he intended that we exclude no one from the love that we are supposed to be giving. I started thinking about my idea of love and suddenly realized that I had not been loving anyone at all. I had simply been judging everyone and every thing.
Judging someone worthy of love is not love, it is only judgment. I actually started to cry when I realized this. I saw just how much of my life I had wasted being judgmental, thinking of myself as a Christian, when I was actually doing just the opposite of what Jesus had asked us to do.
I thought about the verse judge not lest ye be judged, and I understood it for the first time.
I realized that I have a lot of catching up to do. So many opportunities were wasted. I now try to apply the love that I have for the world in a universal way like Jesus asks us to do.
If I start to feel afraid and think that I see someone that I should not love because of something I have thought or heard I try to catch my mistake as soon as possible. I tell myself that I have forgot the truth and have fallen for the same old trick that had cost me so many opportunities to be loving in the past. The horror of this realization is often all that is necessary to bring me back to my senses and make me drop the judgmental nonsense I was thinking.
I still have a lot to learn about love, but at least I’m making progress.
Love and blessings
Your brother

lol im sure there has to be a point to somethings. not EVERYTHING but somethings. which should be enough. I mean really, do you want to think over and over on the point of EVERYTHING. be happy that somethings have a point and others dont.
Life has a point. thats good. Love has a point. thats good too. Candy doesnt have a point, you can live with that.
see what i mean?
so there is no worse, just. . .. . a long journey to understanding.
with time everything begins to clear up. you just have to have the patience and the dedication to WANT to understand and comprehend it.
the mind grows, im sure it can grow big enough to comprehend even the biggest things.
think about it ^^

There may not be. If there was a point but you could never comprehend it then wouldn't ignorance be blissful? For it to be worse you would have to know there was a point and to know it you would have to comprehend it therefore it could not be worse.

What if you didn't need one to live a virtuous life?
That is, in essence, the Aristotelian man of virtue, the Nietzschean Ubermensch. The man who does not need an external concept of good and evil to still do the right thing.
If you need a point to existence, you are already conceding defeat to nihilism. It is just a matter of time before you decide that the point of existence is its own destruction.

There's a quote I like that's about this...
"If nothing's okay, then that means that everything is okay."
you don't need a point, you'll never know it, so why stress about it? Live the life you'd see best whether there's a point or not.
(From the movie "I heart huckabees," very philosophical lil' comedy, check it out.)

If there is no point to everything, then there's no point to everything. Simple as that. :) You'll never know, cause it's pointless to find out, but because you seek an answer, then this question is not completely pointless and there is a point at least to something. What if?

There is no point on many things... Organize religion would be number one on that list... But, life and the Universe are just a playground for our endless search!

What's that Sinatra song?
..that's life..
and i can't deny that
may times I thought if quittin'
but my heart wouldn't buy it..
If I didn't think it was worth one shot..
I'd just roll myself up
in a big ball
and
Die....
I think those are the lyrics.
David Lee Roth did a cover, too.
Anyway,
THAT'S LIFE.
