No, but my mother tells me that when I was two years old I refused to leave a store with her, even though she walked out the door without me.
Ten seconds later, of course, I ran screaming after her.
Now that I think about it, maybe I didn't demonstrate my independence that day after all... :)

Yes, I was 5 and tried to run away from home. It was cold, snowy & I packed my little suitcase with some stuffed animals & toys & told my parents I was leaving forever - they'd be sorry! My Dad took my shoes & coat thinking that would stop me from leaving, but I just went out in the snow with no shoes or coat. I didn't get too far.

Eh, that must be when I played truant for my ballet and violin lessons; aged 14?
My mum went nuts and that was probably when she started to realise that I've grown up and that she must listen to me when I said "no more".

Yes, when I took my son and moved us out of the horrible environment we shared with his dad. I never thought I could do it but now am so proud of myself and happy I did it!
