i need a hint/ help on this geology question for 4,5,and 6.it sounds stupid.i dont know waht they are trying to say.ive tried every thing..still dont get it -_-;;; this will mean a lot to me.if i freakn understand it~ thanks in advance http://www.sciencecourseware.org/VirtualRiver/Files/page08b.html

for number 4 and 5 the blank M, do i write down where the meausring tape where the blue arrow is pointing like example: .53 instead of 5.3? do i measure the distance on the top or middle or bottom? ><

You can click so that the nose of the propeller-thingy is at the left edge of the stream, and that gives you one position, then do the same thing at the right edge of the stream, and that gives you another position, and then take the difference, and that gives you the width (make sure you subtract the smaller from the bigger so you get a positive width!). The whole exercise seems stupid to me...

You can move the sensor around.

P.S. Not a stupid exercise at all! I am sure that you will appreciate this exercise once you get to the more complex stuff in fluvial environments
