Error 999 is Yahoo's way of saying "we have a problem, we don't know what it is, but we'll fix it." There's nothing you can do, it's not your fault, so wait awhile and try again.

It is probably a connection error from your local server or just a technical glitch. It usually clears up after a few minutes.

Yahoo uses the error 999 when they don't know what the problem is.....pathetic isn't it
