I have the "new att" (cingular) and am on a family plan that has like a certain number of minutes, and then like free calls to other cingular customers, etc. I have been making calls to Detroit to someone who has Sprint. Do these calls come out of my regular minutes? are they free after a certain time? I'm confused. Thanks!

If your paln gives you free Cingular to Cingular minutes then no matter where they are (within reason) the calls are free.

Call Cingular, and be sure!!! The last thing you need is a huge phone bill by accident!!!!

You have minutes called "Anytime minutes." When you call a person who does not have Cingular, it is taking the time you use from your Anytime minutes. Minutes used after 9PM on weeknights are free, no matter who you call, also on the weekends.

Any minutes you do not use from your plan will be added onto your next bill. This gives you the ability to have all of the minutes you pay for. You can check your minutes used by dialing *646# from your phone.
