Hello,
Ok i am not asking what it is i have it every month lol, and i hate it alot. I just wnated to know if anyone knew the reason why we have cramps during our period. I know the whole process that goes into having a period but why does it have to include having cramps during periods. I have cramps not so bad at times but sometimes they are really bad. My aunt has given me mydol which has helped alot before. I love it lol. I was wondering also if anyone knew how much mydol runs for in the stores.

Well mestrual cramps are caused by the normal contraction of the uterus.

Sometimes it contracts but you won't always feel it because the contraction isn't as fatal. I hope I helped.

Periods are part of life, but they can have "side effects" that make our life un-liveable. Cramps are from the estrogen levels dropping. The Mydol is got an medication in it, for that reason. But I not sure how much, maybe
$7 dollars ( us currentcy) like Wal-Greens or Wal-Mart. or Rite Aide.

I think its the ovaries that make the cramps but I could be wrong. They switch back and forth so each can produce eggs thats why it hurts more sometimes, That ovary just cramps more than the other. Midol shouldn't be that expensive.

we have cramps because, from what i know, our the part, erm. below the stomach area, they have to liek, squeeze the blood out. something like that. so, we have cramps. some have really bad cramps. its normal. u have to love it when u are having ur period. it means ur healthy ! seriously. the blood that comes out is all dirty blood. fyi, woman live longer than men because of periods. When you have a period, you are shedding the inner lining of your uterus. It is your body's way of cleansing itself.

The inner lining of your uterus is where the zygote(egg meets sperm) is implanted and if there is not an implantation for that month then your body flushes out the old and getting ready for the new.

The cramps help the uterus expel the tissue. (same as they help push out a baby during childbirth)
