1. How should i start? With a low budget camera then get a better one when i get more money?

2. When big places make movies, and there called blablabla Productions, how do you get your name? do u just make up 1 that isnt already used or do u have to get a copyright on it?

3. Whats the best way to get better equipment? sell my low budget movies?

1 an inexpensive miniDV camera is an excellent starting point. digital video can be easily edited in a home computer to give a polished look, many semipros use Macs as it has good software available and the firewire connections for downloading.
2. making movies is high risk. you need a lawyer and to incorporate. every corporation requires a name that is unique in the State they are registered. So you can pick your own production name as long as it is not already used. I would check New York state and US Trademark on-line database as well.
3. the way professionals get better gear for productions is to rent it as needed. unless you are pumping out 50 movies a year like a studio, it is bad business to own stuff that may get obsolete quickly.
4. get started? i thought everybody already was in the movie business.
