The 80's by far. No runaway inflation, tons of interesting musical and business developments. As far as I'm concerned, nothing happened in the 70's except my birth.

I was born in 1970 so I have exerienced them both. The '70's had this really great cheesiness to it and was a more simple time. The '80's had awesome hairstyles and more technology. Both decades had fantastic music. For me, it's a draw.

I was born in 1971 so I got to experience both decades and I really like them both, but I guess I am more partial to the 80's. No matter how you look at it they were the last of the truly fun and innocent and safe times. You will never find times like them again.

The 70's, brought in two beautiful daughters for me!
Plus, LED ZEPPELIN concerts! HEART, PINK FLOYD, ROBIN TROWER.......Great music! Wonderful concerts!
Fewer laws! That was a plus!

The 80's, finally graduated from college! YEAH! Started an interior decorating business. lol
The Cars, Stevie Ray Vaughn.....Great music!
