I am usaully able to connect to the internet through my wireless router, but whenever i restart my computer, I cant connect for a few hours, and now i cant connect at all. I did a ping test, so I konw the card is good.
If it helps, when i set up a network connection on computer 1, it displays my wireless card. but when i try to set it up on computer 2, it only displays some LAN thing i can never connect too. and it says under the description "connected, firewalled"
if the firewalls the problem, how do I un firewall it? ive tryed taking off my firewall, but it doesnt do anything.

Don't change any settings.
Turn your computer clear OFF
Pull the Power Adapter from your ISP's Modem
Pull the Power Adapter from your Router.
Now wait at least 5 minutes.
Now in this order.
Plug in your ISP's Modem, and you must wait at least 2 minute.
Next Plug in your ROUTER, and again you must wait at least 1 minute again.
After you have completed everthing up to now, Start your Computer and try to connect.
This is known as a complete Network Reset

wow, loser answer Mrs. Ed. besides, first determine you have cyber web coming to the cable you're plugging into your router. in case you do, then you definitely're the two doing something incorrect with the router setup, or that's greater complicated than that. in case you have a DSL modem, it ought to be in "bypass via" or "bridge" mode. that way the router can assign IP addresses because it pleases with out conflict. and you ought to use an Ethernet cable. it incredibly is the only element which will artwork.

try unplug the router and modem so they can reacquire an IP, etc. Sounds like your not router is not getting an IP since you can ping the router and not get out. Ensure your DNS/gateway is correct.
