When I go to a baseball game, I like to sit in the field level seating on the first base or third base side. That way you get a great view of the field and you are close enough to see the players without binoculars. The prices give an extremely good deal and the view is amazing. I hope I answered your question well.

That really depends on the stadium, your budget, and your connections. I think right behind home plate on the lowest level is a great place to see a game. However, these seats are often reserved for season ticket holders and opposing team's families. The base lines and the outfield fences are almost always good seats. The upper deck seats are el-cheapo.
In most modern stadiums, there aren't very many bad seats anywhere in the house.

My favorite place to sit at the Red's stadium is down the first base line out by right field cause you still have a good view and Austin Kearns throws up two baseballs after warming up b4 innings

Depends on the team you are seeing, me from experience, try to get as close to the action but if you are money conscious, then you may want to get a cheap seat and then move later on in the game if you don't like your view. I live right near a minor league baseball team and when I do go see them play, there isn't a bad seat in the house but I usually try to sit behind home plate

I really depends on the park. I go to safeco a lot and I discovered the best seats are in the last row of the third base line. No one is behind you so you can stand up and stretch whenever. It's a beautiful view of the sound too right behind you.

YOu really don't want to be looking into the sun for evening games.

I know people will disagree with me, this is more of a sentimental answer, than a good one. My father had box seats, at Yankee Stadium, right behind the catcher. I absolutely loved it, when i was a little girl. I guess some will say they are the worse seats, but i remember it, as a great view.

Behind the plate, no doubt because you get to see what the hitters are up against. You get to see the speed and movement of the pitches. Behind the dugout is excellent to. I have also been in the skyboxes and they are all you can eat. The closer the better always.

The best place to be in any ballpark is as close as you can get to either the 1st base line or the 3rd. If you get seats beyond the foul ball nets, and close to the bases you are more likely to catch (or be hit) by a foul ball. Woo Hoo! Nothing better than hot dogs, beer, and random head trauma.
