i just started cycling my seahorse, reef tank and on one of the live rock was an anamon will it fe when the nitrite and ammonia and nitrate goes up what can i do?

By the way YEs it is an anamone its a buble anamone and is very small with only 2 branch type things

You had better do water changes to keep this as low as possible, and get your hands on some live bacteria from a mature tank as soon as possible to take care of the problem - these should only be added to a mature tank and never cycled with. Always start off the tank with just live rock.

Yes, they will die - you are keeping a difficult and advanced aquarium and you must absolutely keep things pristine.

You may also be interested in knowing that a seahorse can latch onto an anemone, unaware that it will become a meal. Yours is a weaker anemone and more likely safe, but not a chance I would take.

refer to your lab set, dont have one. get one. until its completely self sustained, you will have to help it out a bit. the levels could just be your water supply.
