I'm using .css for a layout, and it looks perfect on my Mac OSX Safari. Unfortunately, when I look on the Windows Explorer, it is pushed way over to the right! I try to change the px paddings and margins, but they just turn into a huge mess on my Mac. I really don't want it to look like a 'hack job', so can you think of anything that could help me center it on both internet systems?

you got all good answers... but we can only guess how bad your css or html is!

Provide a link or a portion of the site , and you'll get some real answers!

I could tell you to validate your html and css , but that's only a tool. I could quote the different things that IE does wrong, but that would take forever!

You've got some great minds here who are willing to help... let us help you!

You will find that there are different Web Program Software's and most work exceptionally well. These are dedicated to Web Design ONLY.
Even though there are other softwares out there that can be used, they just simply are not as good.
If you decide to use CSS you will more than likely have to expieriment. I know this isn't what you want to hear.
But don't forget that every Browser will show the layout different. Don't make the mistake of just using Safari and Explorer.

Very complicated to answer this without going into massive amounts of detail. It is possible and Google is your friend.

Start by investigating the CSS Box Model.
