the doc said her due date is aug 20 according to the ultrasound how far cud the doc be off, and is the date more likely to be, b 4 or after aug 20

what i shud have said im trying to figure out if they cud be mine and wonder how far off cud the doc b in predicting her due date if she didnt know her lmp and he told her that it looked as though it was around nov 13 or14 can they predict things like your last period by an ultrasound and can they be off by alot

Ive had 5 children
First??.. due date was March 28th...she was born April 2nd
Second??.. due date was December 25th.. he was born December 20th
Third??... due date was January 11th ..she was born early on December 22nd due to complications (placenta previa)
Fourth??.. due date was December 2nd ...he was born on November 27th
Fifth?? ...due date was April 21st ...he was born on April 24th
all were born within the week prior or the week following my estimated due date

A lot of times the women goes in to labor a week or 2 before or right on the due date it rarely happens after the due date.

Babies come when they are ready. It rarely happens exactly on the day predicted. That's just a best guess, only the baby knows... :)
If it's a first pregnancy I think she is more likely to be late than early. You just don't know! My anniversary is Aug 19 so that would be a good day to have the baby.... ha ha.

would really need to know the 1st day of her last period. The due date was determined by a Dr. so it should be right. It could be off 2 weeks before or after.

So your trying to figure out if the baby your girlfriend or wife is carrying is yours right? My advice to you is this! If you have doubts when that baby is born pay the money and get a pat test! Find out for sure! Unless you don't care ether way and blood couldnt make you any closer then don't! But if you really wanna figure it out that is the sure fire easiset way then trying to play the guessing game and wonder the rest of your life!

No one online can tell how far off the ultrasound is. We don't know you, we don't know when you think you concieved, we don't know your past history. If the doctor says August 20th, well, it is a safe bet your child will be born sometime between now and Sept. 4th. Good luck.

he can be 2 weeks late on it so aug 6th maybe

it really just depends. but mostly, the baby will come when he/she is ready.
