is the wii really worth it cause i dont know whether to get it or get another system?

thanks tp everyone that answered i already have the PS3 so i dont know whether to get a wii or the 360???

The system is worth it. It's really revolutionary because it has a wireless controller that senses where you're holding it in relation to the TV. You don't just need to use your thumbs anymore (which is great because mine always get tired after a long day of gaming), and you can use your whole body to play. Depending on the game, you can shake the remote, spin it, or twirl around with it.

Right now, though, there aren't that many really great games out for it aside from Twilight Princess. If you're hesitant about getting it, I'd wait until a really big title comes out that you absolutely love, and then buy the system so you can play the game. It may even be cheaper by then.

The Wii IS worth it.
It has games to cover a whole range of age groups and genders, is the cheapest console with the cheapest games, (don't let that throw you!), the most innovative and fun games and you get exercise using it too!
Although, the XBOX360 is also a good system. In my opinion not as good as the Wii, so in time you may want to invest in both.
There isn't much point in the PS3 at the current time because there are pretty much ZERO decent games out for it, with a ridiculous price tag and the whole loud noise mass heat thing.
Go to YouTube and search PS3 Grill, see what I mean.
So in all, I think the Wii is the best bet for now, possibly investing in an XBOX360 in the future.

You have to decide what your gaming needs and wants are too determine if the wii is the system for you. If you buy the wii you wont be getting the best graphics like PS3 or xbox360. You will get a new way to play games with the wii remote. Instead of pushing buttons like you do with the other consoles this allows you to interact more with the game. For $250 you get the console. remote and also wii sports, what other console gives you games to start out with. If I was you I would check out the games wii has to offer not only now but future games and see if these are the type of games you would be interested in. Ask the people who work at the stores who sell them and see how fast they sell, probably not even for 10 hours they'll be sitting down in a store. Well I don't know there reason, probably they heard it from another person who recommended it, it's super cheap, it has intuitive controls, it's a new way to play, it's family friendly, it's accessible by both beginners and pros. That's what people usually say, so I'm guessing yes.
