She was great on that show. Ron Jeremy was in the Surreal house with her. She played the "mom" role to everyone. I think it is sad that cancer took her life Friday. She got down to 60 lbs.

I agree with you. That show showed what a classy, caring lady she is. I feel sad she had to go this way.

Yes, I did watch it. I think that was the best Surreal life ever. She seemed to be a very good person. I hate that cancer took her life the way it did and she suffered. I hate to see anybody suffer but she is not suffering anymore. That is the thing to think about right now.

I started watching it because she was on it and the fact that it was a strange combo of people made it facinating.

Tammy Faye was so kind to Ron Jeremy even though what he did was against her principals, she behaved like a true Christian and didn't judge him.

I think it is so sad that she died. I know she is in heaven.

This is the first I heard of her passing. Aw, that's too bad. She was kinda cool on the Surreal Life, much different than I would have expected her to be. She was sooo skinny when I saw her on Larry King, but she seemed to keep a positive attitude.

Poor woman. She made some mistakes, but she had a good heart. God love her, she really had it rough in the end. Rest in Peace, Tammy Faye.

I just read about this , and I always felt sorry for her that she was married to that awful man. She seemed to be a really nice person. She made me laugh when her mascara would smear all over her face. it is sad but she is at peace now.♥j

for as many people who are out there that judge others even when they have repented, it is good to see that so many people who answered your question have true compassion...thanks for posting this question to give us an opportunity to say how we feel...

i think she was a good person caught in a bad situation years back...she made mistakes, but did her best to prove by her actions that she was a good human being...

i pray that her passing was peaceful and painless...that she is with her God and that she has no memory of the pain she suffered...

It is quite sad...I watched the show and I thought she was wonderful. I had been following her blogs and video, and it was truely sad that she faught as hard as she did for so long battling cancer...she was very brave. May she have the peace she deserves.

Yes I did, in watching the show initially I had prejudged her for a drama causer, yet she was the most normal of the bunch.

No I didn't, but I did watch her interview with Larry King the other night and she looked so pitiful. I really had a lot of sympathy for her. It was sad.
