Proper form and practice. Look at all the greatest shooters in the league, they all have exceptional form. When they shoot the ball it always has the right trajectory and spin. They always set themselves up with the proper footwork. I would watch tape of great shooters and watch what they do, and you could probably pick up a book that will tell you the fundamentals like keeping your elbow tucked in and a 90 degree angle. What helps is weights to, upper body strength will increase your range and and combat fatigue in your arms.

I don't know what a shoter is. Do you mean shooter? And if so do you mean in video games, or in real life? Any who, I'd imagine it's like anything else and practice is a good way to get better at it.

ok here's a good way to improve your shooting stroke

1) Bend your knees and jump...its called a jumpshot for nothing, so jump and then shoot

2) Always have a follow through...make sure you shoot upwards and not sideways and flick your wrists

3)Always start from closer to basket and then go farther away from the basket to see if you can make long range shots....work a lot on your mid range game which is about 12-15 feet from the basket...this is the distance where you'll most likely use your jump shot

4) Keep practicing and never be afraid to put up bricks (it always happens to everyone)

Practice makes perfect. Start at a comfortable distance. Once you are able to make some shots, go further and further. Thats why how I can shoot a decent percentage from almost half court.

Repetition is the key to everything. Get to a hoop and see which way works for you. Most people have a one handed shot where your dominant hand is under the ball and shoots it while your other hand guides it to the hole. Good luck with your shooting.

Watch Ray Allen and other great shooters, maybe even Kobe Bryant (still pass)

Of course, practice

when you go out to shoot hoops first thing you should do is shoot a few lay-ups to get yourself comfortable again...after that while you are shooting pay attention to your feet...make sure they are square to the basket, and your feet are under you. if you can get a friend who is willing to pass you the ball, after you catch it shoot right away...this will help you to ajust the ball in your hand more quickly.
you can also practice while you are at home...lay down on the floor and shoot the ball up in the air using one hand or two hands...make sure you get good spin on the ball...this will help the next time you go out to shoot hoops
