I was reading iver the rules of the baseball tryouts and i came upon this "Participants must be at least 16 years of age. No players selected by a Major League team other than the Houston Astros in the 2007 June Free Agent Draft will be eligible to participate in the tryout camps." does this mean i cant just walk up and tryout???

I think it means if you got drafted by the Red Sox, Yankees or some other team you can't try out.
It says
"No players selected by a Major League team other than the Houston Astros..."
It doesn't say "Only players selected by the Houston Astros..."
I'm guessing you are trying out for the Astros and they can't pick up players drafted by another team because that team has the rights to that players so you should be ok to go.
