best (Clean) budget hotel in paris?

Question

I'm not too picky, just a place to put the rucksack down, preferably with a safe in a safe enough district. There's two of us travelling, so a hostel with private rooms available would be fine, anyone reccomend a hotel you stayed in that you enjoyed for less than 60 euro? ok how about 70? cheers!

There are a few good hotels for your budget, you could even consider a budget hotel for that price, like Hotel Balladins or Ibis hotels (they have pretty good weekend rates too). All depends when you want to go really as prices will fluctuate.

I often book on Hostelworld the website is secure and have never been dissapointed with what they offered. I'll also give you the link for Accor Hotels (Ibis hotel). Don't be put off by some of the prices of the other hotels in the chain, Ibis is the best price/comfort one you can get, and they are usually located in good areas in the city ;)

try ibis sacre cour around 60-70 euro a night well was last september 2006.

Great spot anvers metro station right over the road very lively neighbour hood with heaps of places to eat . Has a very north african feel about it.

About 5 metro stops from the champs elyesse

have a great time Paris rocks

It is in a nice part of town, a few minutes walk north of the Notre Dame, and they have rooms as well as dorms. All three hostels are within a few minutes walk from each other. But book before you go, they are popular.
Good security too.
