Neither. Our troops should be protecting our borders. The Iraqis and the Sudanese can have their little wastelands.

I agree with hopeless. Business always seems to be behind the wars. Even when there were people suffering in New Orleans the US gov't didn't get angry or cry real tears. We live in a sick world. I've learn from this though. When the time comes and helping some have is at stake I will let that person fall victim to his own fate. If the empire state building were hit by terrorists again today, you know what the world wouldn't cry as it did back in 2001. Sure there would be some sadness but a lot of people have learned what America and its allies are really about.
If you can't do it with love, don't do it at all. America can't do it with love. What is it doing then???

The United States Government; its President, Congressmen, and senators, has an obligation to the people of the United States to "put our troops" in a position to protect the people of the United States. Every governor, mayor, and city council, and citizen has the responsibility of monitoring those we have elected to represent us.
When the Germans began their invasion of Europe, America chose to "stay out" of the conflict because most citizens did not "see" a threat to America. We, America, entered the conflict in Europe as allies to England, France, and Italy. The U.S. did not have any empathy for the political prisoners Germany had interred, not did the U.S. have any concern about the millions of Jews who were being subjected to German rule.
The only reason America declared "war" on Japan was because of the Japanese attack on our naval facility in Honolulu. If Japan had attacked Germany, the U.S. would have sat back and done nothing!
Today, it really doesn't matter where the U.S. "puts" their troops. Any effectiveness the U.S. military had in past decades has been obliterated by the policies initiated by the U.S. Government within the last 30 years.

neither. if it wasn't for greedy, capitalist pig americans we would of had hybrids by the 90s and electric or fuel cell cars cars by now. the war in iraq is all about money for the white elite, hence why there's no troops in sudan or rwanda. the usa isn't the world's captain save-a-ho, and never will be.

Keep them at home, warmonger.
I love the way you Americans try to control everyone else's crises when you can't even keep YOUR OWN streets safe.
