With Voodoo you have to have a piece of hair or something from the person you want to harm. Voodoo is a doll and the only way it works on someone is if they believe in "Voodoo".
The doll comes with pins that you stick in different parts of the doll and if the person the doll is made after believes they will feel those pricks of pain.

No. And Vodou is not all that dark. In fact it is a mixture of African religion and Christianity.
