That's not a high powered medication, but is safe and effective. It should be good against most smaller parasites such as ich, velvet, trichodina and similar protozoans. It's active ingredients are salt and malachite green, both of which are effective against a wide range of small parasites and fungi. If you have a particular disease in mind that you are wondering about, feel free to email me and I'll let you know if Nox-Ich would be a good choice for treatment.

It's mostly for ich, velvet, and fungus. It was also used for flukes and some others, but Flagyl is used now instead.

The ingredient is malachite green, and although this is usually used in combination with formalin, it can be used by itself. Be careful when using it to not get any of the concentrated liquid on your skin, because malachite green is a carcinogen.

Some fish are sensitive to the medication (tetras, and scaleless fish like catfish) and it should be used at half strength, or build up the dose gradually. All invertebrates are sensitive and should be removed from the tank before you add it.

Also, remember you need to remove the carbon from your filter before adding this, or the medication will be removed from the water.

It cures Ich (also called Ick) and some other common diseases. Why did you buy it if you didn't know what it was for?

Just remember, medication should never be used unless your fish actually has a diagnosed problem.
