It wouldn't really matter what seed they went in as in the West. That Cavs team has NOTHING against the West heavyweights, or even the mediumweights. Phoenix and/or S.A. wouldn't have had any problem clean sweeping the Cavs in the 1st round of the West. They may have had a chance against G.S. or Denver in the 1st round.

No, the western conference is superior to the eastern conference. When you factor in the western play off teams vs. the Cavs or any other team from the east, the nod goes to the west.

No. Detroit is the best team from year to year in the East, and they are only barely a playoff level team in the West.
