When will you commucrats understand? The Islamic murderers don't want peace. They want us dead, the Israelis dead and everyone who is not a murdering Muslim dead. Don't you get it? DEAD. Not peace lovers with hugs for everyone, DEAD!
Take off your rose colored glasses and flip flops and go to Iran and ask them yourself. Well maybe you better not do that, we might never see you again.

The short answer is that Bush and company consider Iraq and Syria to be 'rogue states', and therefore beneath diplomacy. Of course, even if the Administration DID start talking seriously to those and other countries, they wouldn't accomplish much, because they've had so little experience at TALKING. All their experience is with killing.
'Talking peace', I think, is also seen by the Administration as a sign of weakness or of compromise, and big bad America can't be seen as weak or compromising. It is not in their mindset to think, "Okay, war hasn't accomplished our goals, whatever those are. Maybe we need to try something else."

Because you can't have peace where it has never truly been. You can't have peace when it isn't wanted. You can't have peace when being non-muslim is a reason to get your head chopped off. Who are we to talk peace with. Ordinarilly two countries sit down and talk peace but we aren't at war with any countries we are at war with people from a host of countries and the terms of peace for them is for us to cease to exist. Are you wanting to give in to those demands. If so just go on over there and find someone to surrender to so they can video record your confession for being evil and non-muslim and then cut your head off. Me I'll stay hear support the end of radical Islam so that true Islam may be saved.

the end game was /is to allow israel to bomb its iran ,to facilitate an ancient fued ,
still comemorated by a rememberance of the oppressions of long dead king ,and a prayerfilled wish for a return to thier own lands
ok they have been returned to ''thier'' homelands but still bemoan the rite to revenge upon the long dead oppressor king of persia [now iran]
it is a common bond that holds these tribes together despite having only symbolic meaning at best ,
its result [ww3] with its armogeddon fullfilemnts is something even some most radicalised abhoar ,thus remains a block to a greater awakening
revenge is a poor bedfellow

We can talk to the attackers, but they hide from our brave soldiers. NATO is also in Afghanistan. I think they would talk to somebody, but they are getting ambushed because they can not find anybody wanting to talk. Apparently Michael Moore has broken baloney with you and he told you these were 'freedom fighters" and "There is no terror threat". Mr Moore is on a diet now because he said somebody asked him why he does not take better care of himself if he is so interested in health care.

beacuse it is not about peace.. it is about securing our resources and making sure the end result benefits us... also- there is no one to talk peace w/. Iraq is in a civil war and we are in the middle w/ no one able to be reasoned w/... afghanistan is not a war anymoe.. we are simply occupying the country...

Because this is unlike any war our nation has ever faced. This is not about flags and borders, this is about an ideaology of hatred. And defeating hatred is much more difficult than capturing a flag, or killing a dictator.

they do not want to really talk to us. they are just trying to stir things up and that is sad. well anyhow i guess that is what they are doing. i know the military is trying hard to cure the problem but it has to be with the people within themselves that want freedom and they are still helping the insurgents.
