i dont believe this is a problem. when i went off the pill my periods went all kinds of crazy. sometimes birth control pills actually make your periods heavier than they would be naturally (this happened to me also)
give it a few cycles for your body to get used being off the pill.
if you have any other concerns contact your doctor. if there is a possibility that you could be pregnant get a home pregnancy test, and then you will know if the reason it was so light was if you are pregnant or not.

Sounds like your body is just adjusting to the hormonal change. I wouldn't sweat it unless you think maybe your pregnant, then do a test to set your mind to ease and just wait until next month. Sometimes it will take a month to clear out the hormones and 're-adjust'... no big deal. Should you go back on, you may wish to speak to your doc about a slightly weaker pill. Especially if you had substantial PMS with this one or excessive Brest tenderness. The pill you were on may have been too strong.

Perfectly normal after getting off of birth control. And it varies in intensity depending on what form of birth control and what brand. However, I suggest to you that if you are so worried about it that you have to question more than once because you got a very limited number of answers, perhaps you should see your doctor to alleviate the fear you have.

At best, you should be asking your Ob-Gyn this question; at least - my guess would be that your body is readjusting from the change the birth control exerted on it. Your period may or may not return to the way it used to be. If I were you, I'd wait one more month before I'd panic - but you're not me so, to put your mind at ease, go see your doctor and stop looking for serious medical advice from a public forum.

Your body's hormonal levels, and the actual process of ovulation, and shedding of the lining of the uterus, takes longer to re-establish to the former "natural", rather than forced levels, with some women. If, after several months of discontinuation of the oral contraceptives, you have not returned to somewhere near what you were like before, I'd see a doctor, or preferably, a gynaecologist.

it's normal to have abnormal periods after getting off birth control. you will probably have an enormous period later. look in the phone book under your local hospital listing and find an on call nurse and call to see what he or she says.

I think it sounds pretty normal, especially if you just got off birth control. Your hormones are probably still all irregular from that. make sure to tell your doctor about this if you're really concerned.

It may take a while for your body to return to its natural menstrual cycle. Unless you have had unprotected (while off your pills) sex, I wouldn't worry about that. Give yourself 6 months or so. I am an R.N. in Labor and Delivery.... I hope this helps!

not linked to illness, but can be linked to pregnancy. Also most of the time it is TOTALLY NORMAL as your body adjusts to being without the pill.
