I like it regular. The less crumbs the better. I hate making messes and toasted bread leaves crumbs all over the place which i hate. Besides, i like the bread to be soft, not hard and burnt.

It depends on what's in the sandwich. Tuna salad, toasted. Roast beef, regular. Peanut butter, toasted. Salami, regular.
