After Thanksgiving everything ramps up for the holiday shopping season. Usually lots of sales going on. To take in some of the festivities and do a little shopping, you may want to check out Faneuil Hall and perhaps the Prudential Center.

If you like walking, it's a great time of year to explore some of Boston's neighborhoods - Beacon Hill - beautiful historic homes, old fashioned gas lamps, etc., Newbury street - upscale boutiques (great people watching). North End - Boston's Little Italy (great food, fun little cafes, etc).

Christmas shopping, of course!

Fanuiel Hall-lots of tourists and Bostonians go there. they have tons of shops and a huge food court with everything! including Boston's Clam Chowder and everything you will find in any mall food court. Beautifully decorated during the Christmas season!

Harvard Square- it's filled with street performers, shopping and of course Harvard. there's always something going on there! http://www.harvardsquare.com/

other stuff, not shopping:

New England Aquarium- (it's in Boston) I've actually never been, but i heard it's HUGE and fantastic! check it out. http://www.neaq.org/index.flash4.html......

For food, lots of places i listed have restaurants (Harvard square, fanuiel hall, etc). But def. go to the North End; it's known for it's great Italian food. Boylston or Newbury St. also have cute cafes and great restaurants.

also, it will most likely be cold! bring layers, gloves, scarves, jackets, boots, etc!
