we not turning any corners. bush is just hoping that if we hold out and stay in Iraq, that we may come out victorious.
the only evil bush can deliver us from is when his term is over & there is the inauguration of a new president.

i didn't peticularly like clinton as president at the time, however i don't see how he has anything to do with modern day military numbers. Remember, the average enlistment term is 4 years. The soliders in Iraq now, signed on after clinton. don't blame others for bush's mistakes.

i really don't understand why we are even in iraq any longer. I remember months ago our president landed on an aircraft carrier sitting in the back seat but wearing a flight suit with a large banner saying Mission Accomplished. Everyone was cheering and everyone was so happy and of course that meant the war or occupation was over. Now they got civil war and american soldiers raping and murdering civilians

Thanks to former President Clinton, the US Army is too small to do a proper surge. It may create some short-term benefits, however.
