Nothing beats a diesel for pulling power. If you're going to pull heavy trailers and loads diesel is the only way to go.

well a brand new diesel vehicle gets you a tax break from the feds. it also has excelent pulling power but you can sacrifice on mpg. this being said diesel fuel is also cheaper here in missouri. i am not going to get started on brands because thats your choice and I am biased. If you are going to use it hard buy a diesel but if its going to see alot of unloaded street duty buy the gas. just my opinion

I'd go with a diesel. Just make sure it's a true diesel.

The Dodge version of the Cummins Turbo is a good one to consider. Fuel economy is great, and if you are pulling with it, the torque is execellent.

I'm not a big fan of Dodge...but I do know the Cummins engine :)

Maintenance is more . But not as often. They get more MPG and tow better. Any if get amanual trans still lot of fun .

Gas jobs are cheaper and less to keep up but if getting a HD truck the MPG will be nowhere near the deisel .
