It is just my newest way of procrastinating. Before it was books, friends, sleeping whatever I could come up with. Just more tech savvy these days I guess.

No I procrastinate (and I think most people do) because we are overwhelmed or intimidated by the task ahead of us. We merely use the internet and sites like this as our diversion or excuse. If the internet were not here, we'd still find something else to stand in our way until we had put it off and put it off to the point where we have to encounter it. It's definitely not the internet's fault. It is our own fear that gets to us.

No, because humans are inherently lazy in doing things they don't want to do. They follow their own beat, despite totalitarian-type conditioning. If we want to stick our head in a toilet, we will do so if it pleases us. Otherwise we'll be hesitating, answering questions on Yahoo answers before taking that plunge.

well, yes. i put off everything if im on the internet. i usually have something to do then wind up in this silly trance and end up getting zilch done

yeah, there's too much stuff on the internet that you can easily get hooked onto for hours.
