They hate light...I would suggest a huge light ... If that doesn't work try fox urine...It is a little pricy but they will stay away

Skunks live where there is a bit of quiet and lots of food. They are not very social creatures on the whole, I would look around and make sure the food it gone, he'll probably leave also. Failing that you may have to have someone live trap it.

I don't have a really good answer except to trap it or kill it but if you are seeing it after daylight I'd be extra careful as that could well indicate that it is rabid. If that is the case, I'd certainly kill it and take it to a vet.
