I bought a leather bag on ebay but it was bent in half to post. How do I restore it to it's original condition?

The saddle soap thing is the best but first stuff the bag with tissues/ paper/plastic bags whatever to puff it up. Apply the saddle soap or leather conditioner (available at shoe stores or shoe repair shops) along the crease. Follow the instructions. Do it along the crease a few times before you do the rest of the bag. Keep the stuffing in it for a few days to help smooth out the crease.

What I would do is stuff the bag with tissues or better yet some soft towels until the bend is "unbent". Leave the bag in a cool area in your home or in a dark cool closet for about (I know this sounds extreme here) a MONTH or maybe more until. Keep checking at the end of the week to see if the "bent" part has straightend out. If not, you should take your bag to a good and experienced shoe cobbler. They may have something to restore your bag.

You could try rubbing saddle soap on the leather bag to restore it to it's original condition.

I am not sure what you mean by, "Bent in half to post."
