I have to go with Paris Hilton because she is a real person, whereas Harry Potter is a character in a book. Paris is personally responsible for her actions -- whereas Harry only does what the author of his books writes.

What is the deal with Harry Potter and how does a fictional character compare to a Paris Hilton.

Regarding Paris Hilton, she is seriously spoiled and immature, thanks to her family...I hope the jail time helped her get a life...because she and those like her are just plain sad...

and as for the media and Paris and their relationship of mutual exploitation...also sad....sad for this country and our refusal to pay attention to things that are real and matter...we just won't to live in a bubble...like Paris...so who is really annoying...Americans?

Do you mean Harry Potter as Harry Potter or the person that plays him?? Well, I think both annoying but I would have to say Paris because she has done nothing with her life.

I vote for Harry Potter as the more annoying of
the two--and for being the "greater of two evils."
Paris Hilton, however immoral she might seem,
is at least a real person who we--the public--can
take or leave, at our own discretion.
Harry Potter, on the other hand, is a fantasy that
the news-media only puts in our path with
moderation; but it's difficult to ignore him when
we see advertisements for his books & movies
almost everywhere--from our local Barnes &
Nobel Bookstores, to newspapers and even
in the public libraries.
He's the fantasy of a billionaire who's actually
wealthier than the Queen of England. And I,
for one, am truly tired of just hearing his name.

I must admit I hate Paris Hilton... But to most people, when ever someone says "what do you think about Paris Hilton" they'll always think of the negative side about her, not the positive side... which is a shame....
