Both have their own unique voice, sarah is a litle more depressing....alanis morissette is more positive music i find, i like both, depends on mood.

i myself incredibly like Angel (it incredibly is in simple terms an extremely stable music) yet maximum of Sarah's stuff is kinda blah. and that i'm a extensive Fiona Apple fan. i think of the adaptation between the two is that Mclachlan's music is kinda flowery and "corny" the place as plenty Fiona's music is dark and directly to the element. yet another singer i won't be in a position to stand even with the fact it incredibly is Tori Amos. I have not any theory the place human beings get the thought that Amos and Fiona are comparable. to easily element they proportion in effortless is they play distinctive piano lol.

I like both, but Alanis wins out in my mind! Now add Lisa Loeb to the mix, and I would say Lisa! :)
