i have a s-10 and i just put a vortec v6 out of a 93 s-10 in it and when i drive it, it drives fine for a few minutes then it starts to miss real bad. im not sure if this could be a emissions sensor or a bad fuel pump or what. just wondering what it could be

The O2 sensor is wrong or not working properly. Check the connection by the lower firewall by the passenger side frame.

Id check cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Also with rotor removed check the distributor shaft for cracks on the magnet on there if this is cracked it may cause engine concerns

check for fuel in your oil. if memory serves me correctly that should have a fuel spider under the intake and when those things go bad fuel goes into your oil and it will affect runability.

First replace the spark plugs then the cap and rotor.This should correct your problem.
