It's as hard as you make it.

I like to make it easier by going around and pinching.

It depends on how much you want out of life and what you value. It can be very easy and very basic or hard and complicated. I want a life of travel and, since I am not rich, for me to do that I must have a career in which I will travel, hence the journalism journey. I do not value the dollar the way most people center the lives around it. So many people have asked, "why are you in school for that, there isn't any money to be made in that field!", well I don't really care. My life will be enjoyable and easy if I am doing something I love to do.

This question suggests that humans are more important than a plant or an animal, and that SOMEHOW there is a purpose or meaning to breathing.
Let's see: is a rose's life meant to be hard or easy?

Rather than hard or easy I find it: ephemeral, irreversible, undeniable, short if you look at the universe, long if you think of a butterfly. Subjective.

Neither. Life is just there... sometimes it's harder, sometimes it's easier, but one thing I do know, is that nothing comes easy. One has to work for it!
