I believe I'm not answering consistent with your point but if all it took for victory over radical Islam and victory for the people of Iraq was for me to get rid of an SUV; I would most assuredly do it.

First of all, I do not own a V-8 or an SUV, but even if I did, trading it in would a negligble effect on our dependence on foreign oil. Instead of squandering national blood and treasure on fighting a sectarian civil war in Iraq, President Bush should be seeking alternative energy sources which send the filthy Muslim terrorists in the Middle East back to pounding sand, literally.

I do own a 4 cyl sedan and 4 cyl pickup. Anyone who drives an SUV has a serious case of SDS (small dick syndrome) because SUVs are absolutely not necessary. My 1992 Toyota 4x4 gets 23mpg and does all the heavy hauling for my self-employed construction business.

The war isn't about Oil. It's about Civil rights.
You can't blame Bush for the high price of gas. Blame the oil companies. They shut down most of their refineries. With less refineries open less gas is produced and the demand is higher.
Bush offered an incentive to the companies to re-activate the shut down refineries but they said no.

I already have, except, I got a V6. I need the extra power, in the mountains, when pulling animal trailers.
