Indeed.......so many drivers merging onto a highway just go right into the lane of traffic whether you're there or not, and EXPECT you to yield to them. Well, EXCUSE ME, your yield sign means that you yield TO ME.....not the other way around!

If you study history, then you will find that there USED to be a 13th sign. It's called Ophiuchus. Some ancient calendars actually had 13 months as well, and were based on the cycle of the moon, which is around 28 days. This 13th sign was later removed from astrology which is what we have today. Also, make no mistake this sign is still a constellation in the ecliptic of our orbit around the sun, but modern astrology divides the sky up into "abstract" 30 degree segments, which leaves room for only 12 signs. These segments of the sky are larger than the constellations they contain, so even if you weren't born exactly on a constellation, you just are considered to be a part of whatever one is closest to your birthday.

Actually , here in Miami there are some Yield signs where stop signs should be . Dade County doesn't give a crap how to fix the streets . They just finished putting some tubes under 117th Ave and now the street is all sloppy and bumpy . I think yield signs should be "slow down" signs .

Yes, for most people the "Yield" sign apparently means "Speed Up As Fast As You Can!"

Yield signs are to give others right of way, Stop signs are for intersections where visibility is limited.
What makes you think they wouldn't also run stop signs?

Yes!!! These darn Texas drivers do not know how to drive or read street signs. I think they think that YIELD is the same as a green light or something.
