Most of the time I do...I hate for people to see my hurt I pretend that my world isn't crashing down...I like to tell people to thing positive and I don't want them to say well how can you tell me to think positive when you aren't smiling...I do let everyone know that we all have pain so just smile and pretend its not there and it will go away so suddenly...Pain is never the problem it is our attitude about the pain that allows us to keep the pain

I do, well most of the time. A funny story, when I had my first child it was a C-section, hours later the anesthesia had gone so the pain started to kick in, so I couldn't laugh because the pain was even worst when I laughed, anyway a friend of mine kept telling jokes so I couldn't stop laughing and crying at the same time because of the pain. 16 years later I still remember as it was yesterday and makes me laugh! =)

yes i do. i lost my left leg due to diabetes. i have learned that laughter is the best medicine. i make jokes about me having own leg and so does my family and close friends.
i smile because i know some one else else out there need to see a smile even when i feel like crap.

It depends upon the type of pain. Mostly I isolate. I don't want to be around anyone and figure they won't want to be near me at that point either.

yes, you would not ever know that i was hurting, mad, or sad by looking at me. i can out on a good fascade, but for the most part i really am happy :)
