Well, I wish they didn't. I don't know what to say about how I feel about them but it's not a positive thing

Honestly, I don't trouble myself over them. Some people are just genuinely like that, and just like I don't want anyone to tell me not to be true to myself I wouldn't tell them not to be true to themselves. I may not agree with how they choose to be or act, but it's not really my business. So I don't care about them. I am more bothered by the ones who are not genuinely that way who put on an act so they can "fit in." Anyone who does that should be ashamed of themselves. I am also bothered by people who throw those images all over the television and movie screen in order to perpetuate it and capitalize on it. And finally, I can't stand people who look at the ones that fit the stereotypes, then look at me and assume I'm just like them because we have a similar skin tone. I do hate people trying to put me in the position of fighting a stereotype all on my own when all I want is to be myself.

Well, the stereotypes for Black people are pretty negative, so to the people that fit those stereotypes I must admit, I feel annoyed, very ashamed, and a little mad. It's those people that make it hard on the rest of us, you know?

It drives me mad, I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, truly faithful, I serve And love Jehovah God, but because i do not fit the stereotype, female. Only my Friends who work the same job type as me understand me!
How do I feel about the females that fit?
Some times I am sad, that they don;t consider me as part of them, They sort of try to come over to talk to me to be nice, but my work is completely out side of their realm of understanding, so it is awkward.
But I love them for trying! Even if they are an entire congregation of BLONDS { sorry} couldn't think of another analogy!

I believe that stereotypes continue in their chosen mode because many have seen no difference in the level of respect between those who do indulge in negative behaviors and those that do not...
To answer your question, sterotypes, and those that believe in nothing but, generally just piss me off...

Stereotypes are in place for a reason... Because a large portion of the vocal/seen population of the given demographic is like that.
As for how I feel about people who live the stereotypes... well... They're just perpetuating said stereotypes.
I don't really feel anything emotionally about it... it's just the way it is.
