I was trying on self tanners and did not realize the overspray went on the floor The floor was linoleum and it was not visible. I wouldn't have done it, but all the products had samples labeled "try me".

Absolutely not. I would write a letter to the CEO of the store, this is poor customer service, don't feel bad about spraying yourself with the product. You were still on their property it's their responsibility. The same thing happened to a friend of mine. If I were you I'd consult a lawyer.

Yeah, although I'm a little confused about what happened. Going by what I think happened, chances are either they're just super busy, the people that were working the next day weren't working the day before and so they didn't know you... etc. Incident reports are so that if something does happen, you have something to go back on... it doesn't give you personal relations with the store. You can contact the store and say that you got a hair line fracture, you had filled out an incident report, and what their policies are on injuries and if they pay back meidcal stuff.

I would not get a lawyer involved!! Too much time and money, and it only makes people not like you.

How in the world did you fall on some lotion that you sprayed on yourself? Sound pretty clumsy. Anyway, no, you aren't wrong to feel that way. However, whenever there is potential litigation, you probably won't be contacted. It isn't that they don't care, but they are cautious because they can't admit liability.
if you want the store to pay your medical expenses, first contact the store. You will probably get referred to their legal department.
Explain what happened and just say that you would like your medical expenses covered and that you don't want to make a big deal about it.
See what their reaction is. If they refuse, then get a lawyer.

I slipped and fell in a store on a snap pea that I didn't see. I sprained my ankle and the store paid for my medical expenses. They never contacted me either, I had to initiate all communication. Just curious, how did you fall on lotion that you sprayed on yourself?

I think you should just forget about it, buy a doughnut for your tail bone and just get on with your life. Maybe you should realize that it was your fault you over sprayed. Or maybe it was the fault of whoever sprayed you. How embarassing...

Yes, you're wrong. It was your fault that you fell, not theirs. Don't even think about suing them. We have enough frivolous lawsuits in this country!

Those workers have enough problems without dumb-asses like you causing your own injury. You want sympathy. WAAAAAAAAH. There's your sympathy. Grow up. You caused your own accident.
