If you aren't interested in breeding then you definitely only want to keep males.

There is no problem in keeping all male guppies.

The males are more colorful, but they can get aggressive with each other. The books usually suggest 2 females to 1 male, but that's if you want to breed them. The bad news is that you can have all female guppies and still end up with fry. Female guppies store sperm and can get pregnant from it at any time. Our female guppies had their fry and the other fish ate all but two of them. Now they look pregnant again - they get a dark spot. So - if you just want color - maybe just one male guppy would be great.

Yes you can keep all male guppies in a tank. It is generally better to have an all make tank than it is a lot of males and one female. The males will drive that poor female crazy flirting and following her around.

i began out with 2 guppies, one died then we've been given 2 greater, the 1st one had 15 toddlers, we lost one greater person, all toddlers are nevertheless living, we've been given 3 platys, one died and the day previous the mommy guppy died, i in simple terms think of they're greater durable to shelter. in the event that they commence performing extraordinary, get them out because of the fact they are in a position to infect different fish and that they are companies to get unusual tumors and then must be thrown away :(

All male is fine. Females are harder to get and not as pretty, the guppies do ot have to be a mixture of genders.

You can keep all males if you want. Sometime they might bother (try to breed with) other fish in your tank but it should be fine.
