getting carded at a bar 3 days before my 40th birthday.............my younger friend was not carded

Not so much a compliment as an action..But I was once carried off the field like in the movies after a football game. It was late in the 4th and I caught a pass out of the backfield that went for 40 yards into the endzone giving us the lead. Then somehow we let them score again and we lost the lead by 3. I was pumped so the coach said to just run 33 and 34 (which was a hand off to me in the 3 or 4 hole) until we lost yards. We had a bad field position so we were looking at a 65-70 yard march. The entire way down the field we never changed the play. We went 34 all the way until I scored my 4th TD that game topping off my 387 yard game.

I have been blessed as I have been on the receiving side many times.
Very early Friday Morning, I was talking with a young person as to what is next in her life.

My parents recently told me they are proud of me because of the choices I've made and the way I am following thru with them. That meant a lot to hear one adult to another.

A 1st grader told me last year that she liked to stand next to me because I have so much warm in me that it just has to come out and it keeps her warm too.
