Toads/frogs will eat anything that is smaller than them and wiggles. Things such as crickets and meal worms can be bought at your local pet store. They need a substrate. This is a fancy word for the surface they live on. It could be moist dirt or some of that sphagnum moss. They need a water supply to sit in as they drink through their skin. They do not eat a lot. They are fairly low maintenance.

Well, what kind of toads are they? Are they really "pet toads" or did they catch them in the wild?

if they caught them in the wild, the friends should be captured and given to another family of a species different from human.

if it is actually a pet, then i would get one of the toad books that they sell @ petco
