a vegetable.
you don't grow it with your fruit, it doesn't come off a tree or a bush, and you sure as hell don't put it in your fruit salad or morning cereal, or use it to top your dessert.
just because it has edible seeds doesn't automatically make it a fruit. cucumbers have edible seeds and nobody questions whether or not it's a vegetable.
i don't even see why the started questioning the tomato in the first place. it's vegetable people, get over it.

I know it's considered a fruit, but I still think of it as a vegetable...I guess because of V8 being mostly tomato juice and it's salty not sweet like you think of other fruits.
