Justice League Unlimited was over aobut a year ago, sorry!

Justice League Unlimited unfortunately ended on Season 5.
The main reasons behind it are basically, MONEY!
Cartoon Network did not want to pay for it anymore, and WB did not have any other outlets to air it at the time, so the series ended. Luckily, Bruce Timm was given enough notice and was able to end the show the way he did.
I think a big part of it was that WB wanted to change things up. With the new focus on "the Batman" and Legion of Superheroes on their Kids WB, they had the League show (as the Justice League will be featured in Season 5 of the Batman).
It sucks, but by having Timm and others off of the show, they were freed up to do other things, like the direct to DVD movies, Superman: Doomsday and Justice League: A New Frontier.
There are talks that in the future, even though the show was ended, there may be some direct to DVD movies in the universe, but unfortunately there is nothing on the planning board right now.
Best bet to get WB to make Movies, but the Season Set DVDs to show people are fans of this series!

I wish there was, but it ended. Rumor has it they didn't want to have it going while they had The Batman and The Legion of Superheroes on. They were afraid having two different animated universes would confuse the kids.
I think that's dumb since JLU was being written for older audiences. Just look at the time slot, it was being shown around 9PM.
There will be a Justice League animated movie either later this year or early next, but it will be based off a graphic novel and will not take place or be part of this animated universe contingency.

How could there be a season 6 when the series ended after 4 seasons .

It had been on for more than two seasons. It was called "Justice League" in the first two seasons and then became JLU for the last three.
