My ex-boyfriend never let me watch what I wanted. He would let me pick movies but he always got to pick what was on t.v. I think it would be nice if a guy would show an interest in what his girlfriend wants to watch. Even if he didn't really like it. I always watched things I wasn't really enjoying. Some things grew on me after a little while.

Sandstorm, if you and I were watching TV together and you demanded control of the remote because of your masculinity, I would stick the remote where the sun don't shine...and you wouldn't be happy about it.

No I believe there should be compramise. The woman should have a say in what they are watching and be able to choose what she wants to watch on her own!

I control our living room tv.If he wants to watch something else he goes in the bedroom or downstairs.

i wouldnt care if my guy had the remote b/c i dont watch t.v., so i guess everyman should have the remote i guess? :)

YES remotes hold lots of germs. the guy should hold it so the girl won't get dirty and later he should wash his hands

would not rely regardless of if guy is meant to have it - he HAS to have it so he can flick over channels at good % and whilst he falls asleep he can awaken and flow "i became observing that"
