so I don't understand why I get emails from people that show their true colors, but you would never guess that's how they really feel by their q&a...

Just be yourself, back up your stuff and stand by your opinions. What are you afraid of?

I think lots of times people on the site are very careful in what they say and how they say it. You will get in trouble for saying too much or what you think or feel. In a email you can be more open

It's not so easy sometimes on Q&A to be yourselfs cause we know if we are we get violation notices like the 5 I got for my questions last night. I never said any cuss words or anything and the questions were just me having fun and being a bit silly

Because it allows people to ask questions they wouldn't normally ask or answer.It's sort of like Halloween, everyday here on Y/A.

Emails are more personel ,as people tend to express themselves in a deeper and more direct way.
