Did Barbie nag too much or was it Ken who couldn't find a real job?

I did not really know it was doomed. I only know that Barbie is really, really attracted to G.I. Joe. When he comes home on leave from the army, they do go out for drinks. Ken does not like this and he goes over to Midge and Allen's house to hang until Barbie gets home. Barbie loves Ken, but she needs her space. After all, she is the true Barbie Girl and is allowed to do whatever she wants! Right???

It started to fail when Barbie slept her way to the top and became the top dogette in the company. All the power went to her head and she looked great too. Wasn't long before she thought Ken was beneath her. Poor Ken, he didn't know why Barbie wouldn't sleep with him, (she had started sleeping with a Richard Gere lookalike) and one night gave into temptation and slept with the nympho next door. Agnes, the nosey neighbor, let it slip to Barbie's best pal, and Barbie learned the truth. Thus gave her the reason she needed to divorce Ken. And so the story continues...

Barbie was have a fling with Skipper and Ken did not want to have two women to take care for, since he never had a real job.

I think they were missing some body parts. Ever looked at a Ken doll....He looked just like barbie and that is where the confusion set in

Barbie left Ken for G.I. Joe. But Ken was going paranoid anyway because of all of Barbie's pink stuff everywhere.
